This was the last night of jazz at this historic club Sweet Rhythm, formally Sweet Basil. (Directors edit) Dear Friends & Subscribers, Thursday, September 24th was our final night at Sweet Rhythm. Thank you all so much for coming out over the last couple of years to support myself, Saul Rubin, Greg Lewis and Alfredo Alias - The Scorpions! - (and Luca Santaniello, Luca Tozzi, Gene Segal, Joe Bussey, Kyle Kohler, Nick Russo, Eric Lemon, Daniel Moreno and Ron Jackson and everyone whom I may have forgotten but you sat in and made it mo' special) every Thursday night. I have the deepest love and heartfelt appreciation for James Browne and Martha Baratz, Steve Epstein, Cho Suthammanont and the rest of the staff that made it one of my most favorite nights of the week - even when it rained!
